Role Chooser

mDIS has two kinds of roles:

• In-app roles are mDIS roles (levels of access) used inside the application.
• External roles operate outside the app (system administration, infrastructure, governance).

Choose the guide that matches your role:

• User/Editor (in-app) - view and edit mDIS data, but not manage the system.
• Developer (in-app) - build and maintain mDIS features, but not manage user's permissions.
• Administrator (in-app RBAC) - manage user permissions and access control.
• Sysadmin (external) - operating systems, databases, and network infrastructure.
• CI/CD Engineer (external, ICDP internal) - automated builds of mDIS.
